Active Women Project is a volunteer scheme which entails a programme of activities to be developed as community led initiative to facilitate projects related to healthy living and personal development.
This kind of approach is particularly important for refugee /migrant/BME females who are excluded from such opportunities and is structured in a way that builds capacity to deliver a wide range of programmes. The availability of such opportunities is extremely important for our target community as it will trigger a process of empowerment and personal development.
The active Women Program envisages the following activities:
• Volunteering project by matching Mentors and Mentees;
• Women’s Forum;
• Personal Development;
• Health workshops.
